About the Community
To prevent the ongoing proliferation of white supremacy and fascism, we need to build community, organize together, and operate in a world of discernible action and not online reaction.
The Progressivists Community brings together progressive folks who wish to engage in dialogue and share experiences in order to deepen our understanding of fascism and white supremacy and inspire one another to take constant action to unfuck our world.
When you join The Progressivists Community, you’ll get to shape our community with roundtable discussions on various social and political issues. Engaging in these sessions can enhance your understanding of how white supremacy and fascism destroy us, all while building connections with like-minded individuals within the community.
At no cost, as a member you will:
Engage in thought-provoking dialogues with fellow progressivists, enhancing your understanding of fascism, white supremacy, and social and political issues.
Connect and collaborate with like-minded individuals, sharing experiences and inspiring one another for positive change.
Access a supportive network of progressive folks, empowering you to become an active and influential participant in addressing how white supremacy manifests within our world.
The Progressivists Community purpose:
The intersections of white supremacy are represented in each and every area of progressivism, including climate change; gun violence; income inequality; voting rights; as well as the bigotry faced by disabled communities, immigrants, LGBTQIA+, and women/women identifiers; and more.
The purpose of this community is to liberate our members by activating them to address and dismantle the intersections of white supremacy through group education and direct action. The community will self-administer our collective education and resources per our pillars of action.

Committing to deeper dives into the intersections of white supremacy with community discussion and self-education

Pillars of action:
The Progressivists Community pillars of action are where various intersections of white supremacy are discussed, resources are included for deeper insight and self-education, and direct action campaigns will be publicized for involvement.
Our pillars of action will grow and enhance as our community understanding and involvement does.

'Doing the work' is rarely flashy and should never be performative — often, it is simply doing what is necessary to support the dismantling of white supremacy. Rolling up sleeves and getting shit done.
Being in this community means showing up — showing up for each other, showing up with our time, and sometimes showing up with monetary aid to outer organizations aligned with our community (these will be direct external payments)
Being in this community denotes your understanding that the movement is not about you. Please, white folks, be aware of the concept of 'white centering', which is when a white person puts an idea into the context of their feelings about that topic (rather than the collective). This centering will always prevent you from achieving enduring and influential change.
If at any point you are having a hard time with any aspects of The Progressivists Community culture, you will take a step back to breathe and remember why we are here: to liberate ourselves by addressing and dismantling the intersections of white supremacy through group education and direct action.
