It’s OK to Be Angry About Capitalism

We've just finished reading Senator Bernie Sanders’ new book ‘It’s OK to Be Angry About Capitalism’ , and honestly, reading it felt like when Princess Leia transferred the Death Star plans to R2-D2 . . . it gives a much-needed glimmer of hope!

Bernie speaks candidly about our establishment's failure to address political greed and offers us an intentional plan for the crucial change we need to dismantle the capitalist status quo (and accordingly maintain a government representing the interests of all Americans, not just the millionairey/billlionairey one percent).

This book completely validated my (many!) anxieties around the unrestrained capitalism and corruption we all see, while also giving me hope for what our democracy could be if we dare to actualize a political revolution — and, importantly, *why we must dare*. Our political habitat is not merely a binary of good versus evil, but an ecosystem of failed design — and we have to face the realities of how our uber-capitalist systems continue to hold hard-working Americans hostage every single day. I highly recommend this book.

Thank you Senator Sanders and Crown Publishing for this necessary and inspiring read. A political revolution? Count us in bruh.
